I am a collector of things that are personally memorable and meaningful. Each natural thing; a shell, driftwood, water droplets, has its own unique qualities that make it different from all the others of its kind. Those differences are what I look for when using a highly realistic manner of portrayal. The mystical feeling and beautiful textures of holding the objects in my hand are what I think of when I am painting them.
