Sarah B. Desjardins
Sarah Bullock Desjardins was born and raised in Providence, RI where she received a degree from The Wheeler School. She later received a degree in Studio Art from Connecticut College in New London, CT. She has spent most of her life in Westport, MA where she and her husband, Richard, a local attorney, have raised their family.
In 1973 Sarah became interested in watercolor painting after studying with Stephen Olszewski at the Westport Art Group. She has also studied with Chris Donovan in Tiverton, RI, Carol Sebold in Brooklin, ME, Meredith Cornell in Westport and Richard Grovernor in Newport, RI. The artist has shown her paintings at the Westport Art Group; Westport Rivers Gallery; the Donovan Gallery; the Acoaxet Club; Spindle Rock Club; the Barn Restaurant; the Little Compton Community Center; and, A.S. Deams, Inc.
Sarah also has drawn a series of 20 postcards and notecards depicting local scenes. They are available for sale at area shops.
