Call to Artists - Register by November 17
2025 WAG “Holiday Small Works +” Show
November 28 - December 14

Criteria for artwork for this show:
You may submit one to three artworks for this show only if you are a current member of WAG or a WAG scholarship recipient. Entries must be the artist’s original work (not a reproduction or copy of another work.) Works in all types of wall hung media are welcome, including paint, pastel, pencil, ink, photos & computer art. Up to three pieces can be entered.
Your work must be properly framed, on cradle-board, or “gallery wrapped” and wired for hanging. Put your name, address, and phone number on the back of each work. Sawtooth hangers and 2D work without hanging wire on the back will not be accepted as they will not work with our hanging system.
1 or 2 small artworks SIZE LIMIT :
2-dimensional, rectangular or square works that are 16”x16” or smaller, including any frame. Any pieces exceeding this size, or not wired, will not be hung.
One “+ sized artwork” SIZE LIMIT:
* New the past few years is the “+ sized“ artwork. This + sized artwork can be no larger than 18” x 24” including the frame, but it can be smaller. Please measure your artwork. *
2-dimensional, rectangular or square works that are 18”x 24” or smaller, including any frame. Any pieces not wired, or exceeding 18”x 24” including any frame, will not be hung.
Artists submitting a wall artwork can also submit 2 artworks for the Bin. Those can be registered at drop-off. Bin artwork should be unframed, wrapped in plastic, original artwork (no reproduction prints) and under the 16x16 size.
All works must be for sale during this show. WAG will promote this show as ‘small works at small prices.’ We suggest a maximum price of $400 for the “+sized art” and under $250 for the smaller pieces which have sold best in this show in the past.
The non-refundable entry fee is $15 for one or $25 for two or three wall artworks. If you volunteer for a gallery sitting shift at least one day of the show at WAG you get a 10$ discount by entering PICTURE at check out. Click this link to choose your slot: Signup Genius Link.
Procedure and requirements for submitting artwork for this show:
ON-LINE PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Note that WAG registration is a three-step process. No image uploads needed.
1. Online entry only until November 17. Choose from the drop down menu at the bottom of this page and click Add to Cart to fill out the registration form.
2. Then Go to the Cart and complete payment, following the online instructions. To receive your discount for Gallery Sitting: At checkout, enter the code PICTURE in the Discount box BEFORE completing check out. This will give you $10 off your registration fee. The discount will not be available after you complete check out.
If you are on an iPhone and want to pay by Apple iPay, the cart is a very small shopping basket icon at the very bottom of the page. You will need to click on the Apple cart icon to complete credit card payment.
3. Check your email for registration and payment confirmation. If you did not get an email confirmation, you are either not registered or have submitted an invalid email! If this happens try registering again. If you still have problems contact Bossbandbob@gmail.com.
DROP-OFF DAYS: Hand deliver your artwork at WAG, 1970 Main Road, Westport Point, MA on Thursday, November 20 from 12PM-1:30PM, or Monday, November 24 from 4-6 PM.
Name of work, name of artist, address, phone, email and price must be affixed to the back of each piece.
PICK-UP OF UNSOLD WORKS: All artwork that is not sold must be picked up at WAG on Sunday, December 14, 2025 between 3:45 and 5:00PM or Monday, December 15, between 4-7 PM. Works not picked up on time could be subject to a storage charge. WAG is not responsible for damage or loss to works not picked up on time.
Sales of Artwork in this Show
PICK-UP OF SOLD WORKS: Works purchased at WAG can be taken by the buyer at the time of purchase or picked up after the show concludes.
If a work is sold, WAG will retain a 25% commission on the price paid and pay the 75% balance to the artist by check sent to the artist’s address in the USA as specified in the registration form.
WAG reserves the discretion to not show a work, including, for example, a work that does not meet these criteria.
