Shop Early for Art!

Come and and browse Fine Art created by Westport Art Group Members, Perfect Pictures-Perfect Price. All works are priced $250 or less. Framed oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic paintings, collages, photography, hand-pulled prints and more. The Fine Art show will hold an opening on Sunday, December 1st from 2 to 4 pm. The show is open from Sunday, December 1st and through the day of the Holiday Fair, December 7th.

Call to Artists and Artisans for THE WAG Holiday Fair


To participate in the week-long art show, you must be a WAG member. Please download the Call for all the details you need to know about submitting your artwork.

Essential Dates for the Art Show:

ART DROP OFF: Hand delivered only. Monday, November 25, 10-noon or 5-7 p.m. We will need Gallery sitters for the week-long show, entry fee ($25) will be waived for sitters. Please check back here in November for the gallery sitter signup link.

ART PICK -UP: Saturday December 7 from 4-5 PM, or Monday December 9 from noon- 2PM or 5-7PM.


The WAG Annual Holiday Fair on Dec. 7, will feature handmade items crafted by both members and local artisans.

GROUP CRAFT TABLE FOR WAG MEMBERS: WAG has reserved a 6 ft. table for members who have a few small items to display and sell. Fee $5. Please download the WAG Community Crafts Table Registration.

INDIVIDUAL CRAFTERS: Please contact Carol Bliven at prior to sending the Crafts Table Registration to WAG.

Essential Dates:

CRAFTERS’ SET UP: Friday afternoon, December 6, 4-7 p.m. and Saturday December 7, 8:30-9:30 a.m.

PICK UP: Crafts on the WAG table may be picked up on Saturday, December 7, 4-5 p.m. or Monday, December 9, noon-2 or 5-7 pm. Crafters with their own table must break down after the show.


Rediscovered Treasures: We are looking for donations for the Rediscovered Treasures table (antiques, art supplies, unique items and more). Please bring Rediscovered Treasures to the Westport Art Group building on December 5, from 2-4 pm or 6-8 pm.

Silent Auction Items: Please also consider donating a handmade item or piece of Art or an unusual or special item for the Silent Auction. All of the proceeds from the auction are used to support WAG programs. Please contact Carol Bliven at for Silent Auction donations.


The Periwinkle Shop

The Periwinkle Shop features small art items and handcrafted gifts made by our members, and is located in the Westport Art Group lobby. The Periwinkle Shop is open during classes and by appointment at 1740 Main Road, Westport Point, MA. Please email if you are interested in visiting the shop.

Call to Artists

WAG Member Artists and Artisans are invited to sell their artwork in the shop. If you are interested in adding your artwork or handcrafted items to the shop, please take these steps:

1) Download the Registration and Inventory Form
2) Fill out the form
3) Send an email to Christine Belanger,, to make arrangements to turn in your form and bring in your work

4) Review a Guideline that Christine will provide you that explains a) the length of your presence in the Periwinkle Shop; b) how to record sales and update the Inventory; c) the WAG commission on any sales; d) limitations on what can be presented products.


Small Exhibits at WAG

When several WAG artists want to exhibit their work together, they can send a proposal to the Small Exhibit Review Committee, consisting of Donna Massano, Janet Gendreau, and Jim Constantine.  The proposal should include: 

  • the names of the artists to be included

  • the kinds of artwork to be included

  • the number of pieces of artwork to be exhibited

  • possible opening and closing dates

  • things about the artists that make them qualified to offer a WAG-sponsored exhibit 

  • willingness to provide publicity in addition to being posted in the WAG website

  • willingness to provide gallery attendants during the exhibit

The Review Committee will approve Small Exhibit proposals based initially on the qualifications of the artists who propose to exhibit their work.  The qualifications that they consider include:

What is their exhibition history? Have they taken part in any juried exhibits? Have they won awards? Have they ever been invited to exhibit?

No registration fee will be charged by WAG.   WAG will collect 25% of the sales of any artwork in the exhibit.  Proposals should be sent to the Small Exhibit Review Committee at
