Art Donations Request and Journal Painting Class

westportgrangesocial2019.jpg

WAG Youth Art Education Coordinator, Barbara D. Barry, is also a member of the Westport Grange near the central village where she teaches an improv journal painting class, “Beyond Words.” The course is an introduction to the creative process for non-artists. Barbara became a Grange member to support the building as a town gem, much like the WAG gallery.

Art donations request: Barbara has announced that this summer the Grange is having its first fundraiser in order to update the building. It is a “Midsummer Social” on Sunday August 18th. They are looking for donation of a few original paintings for the silent auction as part of the event. If you would like to donate, please contact Barbara at your earliest convenience at 774-264- 9299 or by email bdbarry6@yahoo.com.
