LAURA BEDARD
Laura Bedard is a costal artist whose work comes from a lifelong fascination with the sea. Raised along the Massachusetts coast, she had an early passion for watching the water closely, and the animals living beneath its surface.
Laura is especially drawn to octopuses, sea turtles, seahorses, and owls, painting them not just as subjects, but as beings with character and spirit. Working in watercolor, she seeks to capture their movement and individuality. Laura is the resident artist for Lost Horizons Cape Cod, where her artwork is featured in luxury and historic vacation homes. She has also illustrated two children’s books, including one created to help raise awareness about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
